I'm so happy I'm not alone. I worry that I won't ever get it together, but one thing I do know is I love Jesus.

Oh man, i just had a conversation with a couple friends about how the negative of twitter and facebook were getting on my last nerve! Mainly because people use it as a way to weigh and judge their relationships. If someone 'likes' enough of your pictures and posts then they must care more for you and if they dont' then...well you get it. And it annoys the crud out of me when people ask me what's wrong because i haven't commented on their twitter comments!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS! Twitter and facebook were never meant to be another obligation to make us feel better about ourselves, but to stay in touch with people we couldn't before. But seriously... when i see someone in person and they don't treat me well or are constantly talking about people behind their backs, but on twitter and facebook are constantly complimenting and 'gooing' over people... well... i just gag.
Love this jor.

Jory- I appreciated this post very much. I would LOVE to sit down with you and talk to you about this one-on-one! Honestly, this is something that I struggle with tremendously. I feel as though God is placing a calling over me to begin taking Theology classes, but I struggle with becoming a "pastor" because biblically, a woman should not be the head over a church. This is what I comprehend from the Word with such passages as 1 Timothy 2:8-15 and 1 Corinthians 11:3,9,11,12. I would love to know what books you studied on this to give yourself confidence that you are able to hold a leadership position in a church. I believe that I can hold a leadership position in a church, but I struggle with being the head over a church because of these scriptures. So, I'd love to know your thoughts on this...maybe over coffee some time! -April :)

Jory... love your thoughts. I think i remember hearing about these boys saying this to you and i've never had one doubt that they were wrong and that you would do what God has put in your heart to do. Preach it and draw that net!
