Dear friends... I’m tired. Oh so tired. Anyone else? Advocacy is hard and it’s easy to put self-care on the back-burner when fighting for injustices against vulnerable people, but I’ve found that this leads to burn-out because we can’t “pour from an empty cup.” • With that said, I need to take a break from online advocacy & ministry for at least one month to focus in on caring for myself. • I’m sensing God calling me to retreat, rest, restore & renew my mind, body & spirit so that I can be and do all that God has called me to be and do in 2019. • Thank you for your prayers!

Hello friends. I have some bummer news that I have to share with you. I was scammed or ripped off (whatever you want to call it) by an online “tee shirt designer” who required that I pay upfront (Lesson Learned: l will never pay upfront again for this sort of thing). • He even began designing the tees, then he “ghosted” me and blocked me on social media. • I reported him to the police and I am taking other necessary avenues as well to ensure at least a little justice, but it looks like my “t-shirt” business dream (@breakingfreetees) will have to wait, as I need to re-raise the money and then find a trustworthy designer. • If you know of someone who has actual references to verify their work, please put their website in the comments. • If you feel led to donate to the start-up of this “business with a cause” (supporting gender equality in the Church & globally), you can do so here: http://jorymicah.com/donate/ (link in my bio). • Thank you for your patience, prayers & support! • Love, Jory ♥️ #BreakingFreeTeesUpdate
If OT figure, Barak was such a “pansy momma’s boy” for submitting himself under the leadership of Judge Deborah & refusing to go to battle without her (as conservative evangelical theology often teaches), then why is it Barak (and not Deborah) who was named in Hebrews 11(32) “Hall of Faith?”
Thanks to everyone who prayed for me and watched my live interview today! I’ll let you know when I return to the show to finish our conversation. • Your support is very much appreciated; especially when I head into opposing territories. Love you all so much!!!♥️
