 Dear friends... I’m tired. Oh so tired. Anyone else? Advocacy is hard and it’s easy to put self-care on the back-burner when fighting for injustices against vulnerable people, but I’ve found that this leads to burn-out because we can’t “pour from an empty cup.” • With that said, I need to take a break from online advocacy & ministry for at least one month to focus in on caring for myself. • I’m sensing God calling me to retreat, rest, restore & renew my mind, body & spirit so that I can be and do all that God has called me to be and do in 2019. • Thank you for your prayers!

 Hello friends. I have some bummer news that I have to share with you. I was scammed or ripped off (whatever you want to call it) by an online “tee shirt designer” who required that I pay upfront (Lesson Learned: l will never pay upfront again for this sort of thing). • He even began designing the tees, then he “ghosted” me and blocked me on social media. • I reported him to the police and I am taking other necessary avenues as well to ensure at least a little justice, but it looks like my “t-shirt” business dream (@breakingfreetees) will have to wait, as I need to re-raise the money and then find a trustworthy designer. • If you know of someone who has actual references to verify their work, please put their website in the comments. • If you feel led to donate to the start-up of this “business with a cause” (supporting gender equality in the Church & globally), you can do so here: http://jorymicah.com/donate/ (link in my bio). • Thank you for your patience, prayers & support! • Love, Jory ♥️ #BreakingFreeTeesUpdate
 If OT figure, Barak was such a “pansy momma’s boy” for submitting himself under the leadership of Judge Deborah & refusing to go to battle without her (as conservative evangelical theology often teaches), then why is it Barak (and not Deborah) who was named in Hebrews 11(32) “Hall of Faith?”
